The 8 Circuit Brain Oracle is a divinatory Max/MSP patch, presented as an immersive and interactive installation during Sou’Wester Arts Week at Cape Disappointment, WA in March 2023.

The piece is based on a 64 card deck I created in relation to the 8 Circuit Brain model popularized in the West by Timothy Leary in the 1960s.

This video shows an interplay between circuits 2 and 6, representing emotional intelligence as it evolves into experiences of meta programming of one’s brain. Witnessing reflections of their brainwaves determining selections of sound and image, querents become aware of the Oracle's’ effects on thought patterns and perspectives of reality.
