This piece speaks to the evolution of human consciousness in relation to the moon and the Divine Feminine. Since the Neolithic, humans have worshipped the moon and the female body as sources of all life.
This digital sketch, deployed on github using JavaScript and p5.js, tracks the phases from the birthing of the moon to the duality of the feminine energy as popularized in Biblical times.
The piece explores and questions the ending of the current phase and welcomes the coming of a new era, where the female image will once again be valued outside of its current use as a means to sell products and uphold the capitalist system.
